Nepal College of Travel and Tourism Management, (NCTTM) is the premier tourism educational institution of Nepal which wase established in the year 1995. NCTTM is affiliated to Tribhuvan University (TU) which is the state university of Nepal.Since its establishment NCTTM has been conducting the bachelor degree program in travel and tourism under the Faculty of Management of Tribhuvan University since 1998. Its primary aim has been towards developing executive and managerial level human resource personnel for the tourism sector, both in the qualitative and quantitative terms. It has contributed in a tremendous way towards building up a global career of the younger generation of Nepalese and students coming from neighboring countries in the rapidly emerging global travel and tourism sector.NCTTM is the pioneer institution in the field of tourism management studies of this Himalayan kingdom that has tremendous potential of tourism growth and offering different tourism products for the potential traveler. BACHELOR IN HOTEL MANAGEMENT (BHM):
Eligibility for Admission
The candidates applying for admission to the BHM programme must have:
Successfully completed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any academic stream with a minimum of 45 percent aggregate marks from a Higher Secondary Board or any other board or any other board recognized by Tribhuvan University.
.Must have studied English as a compulsory subject.
Candidates seeking admission to BHM course should apply in the prescribed form for entrance test within the stipulated time. The applicants should enclose with the application form, attested copies of:
Certificate and testimonials of all examinations passed.
Equivalency, Transfer and Character Certificates.
Two recent passport size photographs.
Must have secured 35% marks in CMAT Conducted by T.U.
After completion of six semesters (Three Years), students must fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for a BHM degree:
Successful completion of 120 credit hours of 2000 marks with passing grades in each of them.
Successful completion of industrial Release Programme and Project Work.
Completion of courses for the fulfillment of BHM programme must occur within twelve semesters from the date of admission.
The Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM) is a three years' full time semester system course designed to produce professional human resource for the dynamically growing travel and tourism sector of Nepal. Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to handle international tourist service operations including, handling, managing and planning tour, trek and rafting programs; domestic and international air ticketing; appreciate tourism development planning; implement sustainable tourism management policies; and be able to purser further advanced course in travel and tourism management.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
* Must have successfully completed the 10+2 in any stream or equivalent from any University, Board or institution recognized by Tribhuvan University (TU).
* Student English as a full paper at 10+2 or equivalent level.
