B SC CSIT at National College of Computer Studies is a four-year program of Tribhuvan University.
National College of Computer Studies (NCCS) is a private college located in Paknajol, Kathmandu, Nepal. It was founded in 1998 as a computer training and software development institute. It later expanded to include university education in 2003 and high school education from 2005.
It is affiliated with Nepal’s oldest and prestigious Tribhuvan University (TU) and Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB). The department offers a four-year Bachelor in Information Management and Hotel Management program under the affiliation of Tribhuvan University and high school classes in Management under the affiliation of Higher Secondary Education Board. The department is also in the process of undertaking Masters level courses.
NCCS provides scholarships to students with excellent academic achievements.
The campus has a library, cafeteria and computer lab. The college has a basketball court, volleyball court, and snooker and each year a sports feat is organized to promote the sports skills of students and develop sportsmanship among the participating students.
The mission of Faculty of Management's Bachelor in Information Management (BIM) program is to develop socially responsible, scientific approached, result oriented information technology (IT) professionals. The BIM program is designed to equip graduates with the skills and attributes required to be effective and efficient information technology professionals. The BScIT (Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology) curriculum is designed by closely related organizations with the most popular international universities and institutions of USA ,AUSTRALIA and so on .This course is the combinational modification of two TU courses. They are 3 years IT course and 3 years Computer science course. This course is modified by semester wise 4 year's program. There are many elective courses which meet the need of the high technology applications. All undergraduate students are required to complete 126 credit hours of computer science and allied courses. This is the most valuables TU course designed in 2064 B.S.
